I have been using TTN5 for a while on my n35 with no problems 8)
I am now trying out TTN6 and so far I'm not geting on too well with it Sad

It works OK apart from one really anoying thing, the map keeps jumping about like its skipping forward about 100 meters or so and then back again Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

Works perfect on TTN5 and Destinator6 Confused

Forgot to ask, should this map "Tomtom 6 Western Europe v6.60 build 1219" work on TTN5?

Hi,

I recently gave TT6 a go on the N35. It went downhill from the time I typed in my postcode for my home address and it came back with Wurford Drive rather than Hurford Drive, a typo which crept into some maps a few years back and had been corrected since I thought!
I then asked it for a route from Basingstoke to my house and guess what, it took me on a road and through a ford which is not suitable for cars!
So without putting it in my car and trying it anger it was de-installed re-packed and sent back to TT with a letter highlighting their mistakes.

BTW TT5 with V605 maps work fine with none of the above errors.

Mapping errors are nothing to do with the Acer though.

I have been using TT6 on my N35 for a while now. I have had no real problems with it. Just make sure that there is plenty of program memory free, that all the POI's are turned off and that it is plugged into the 12v charger when in use. N35's running the windows mobile 2003 update reduces the processer speed when on battery power and this makes the maps on TT6 jump around.
Just plug in the charger and it should work fine.

Nielsdad - thanks. I thought there was something wrong with my recently acquired N35 with Tomtom jumping around. Is it possible to disable reducing processor speed when running on battery? It's an absolute pain for me to have it plugged in.

There is a program called Pocket Hack Master. I have download it myself but found it a bit confusing. It allows you to tweek all sorts of things to do with the processor and can be downloaded from www.antontomov.com
You get a 15 day trial or you can buy for $19.99
