|
|
I am currently running TomTom v5 on my HP IPAQ PDA and was wondering if anyone else has this issue with TomTom.
When TomTom is running on my PDA, the road names I am driving on that are displayed on screen are correct. :P
When I enter a route to navigate to, TomTom does not display the name of teh current road but it displays the name of my next road. :x
For example, I work in Manchester so to get to work I use the M58 then M6 then M62 then M60.
When I am on the M58, the road name displayed in the M6. When I am on the M6, the road name displayed is the M62 etc...
Is thie issue caused by a setting I am not aware of? |

When you are navigating, the screen shows the next (major) road you will travel on. That's the way it is.... _________________ Tim |

|
|
Hi,
I have recently loaded Tom Tom software on my seldom used Ipaq series 3715. The software performs great when I keep the application running on the PDA, but when I exit the application and restart all of my saved data seems to disappear and it reverts to the original setting when first loaded. Have I missed out on a configuration change somewhere or is there some file I can change in the SD card or PDA memory. Not really sure where data is currently saved. I had planned to update the maps for the new navteq version including all of the Irish road system. Hoping that I have just missed out on some simple setting but have found no similar postings of this problem so far.

Also make sure the Memory Card is not set to Read-Only. _________________ Richard

Thank you for that and glad to know I am not alone. Now I can plan my fishing trips for the next few weeks until the weather improves. Good work. will be recommending this format of discussion forum to my other software suppliers. |

I have purchased AA Navigator 2007 which has all the maps for Ireland and wondered if I can use these maps with Tom Tom Navigator which has superior navigation displays and itenerary plannong. Is there any particular way for uploading the maps into the Tom Tom map folder?? |

'fraid not. That's just the way things are with the maps. |
