How do I COMPLETELY reset the Tom Tom Go to how it was when it left the factory. I have tried dooing it from the cd but it doesnt correct the problem. I am getting no satellite signals...even standing out in the garden, and if I finally do get a signal..after a while the menu flicks up.. then off again... its all over the place. Sad

Try pressing and holding the reset button in for 30 seconds then see if it will power up - Mike

Just a couple of ideas, Janice.

Now that you've factory reset the GO, it'll probably take at least 20 minutes of being in a good reception area to re-acquire all the satellites, before it shows your current location.

Also, can I suggest that the menus coming and going might possibly be the removable bezel round the screen pressing onto the screen, possibly by something being wedged under the bezel ?

If you follow the instructions to remove the bezel, then power-up, it should be obvious if that problem has been solved; then carefully clean and replace the bezel.
