Routing Query

I wish to travel to Ferry Way, Studland Bay. hOW I do I ensure the the GPS routes me via the ferry (from ferry road poole) and does not route me the long way round

This post may not be of much help as I don't have any experience with Navman, only TomTom, but I thought I'd post it anyway just in case it is of use...

TomTom has a feature whereby you can select certain roads to avoid so that it routes you via your preferred route. If Navman has a similar feature, you could work out specifically which roads are on the long way round and get it to avoid these.
