Mio P550 Multiple apps on GPS

I have a Mio P550 on which I have TomTom 6, Memory Map, Anquet, Pocket Streets & Pocket A-Z software running.
In the GPS setting for Windows Mobile it says that I can have multiple programs accessing the GPS function if I tick the 'manage GPS automatically' option... yet they all seem to want to run off COM 2... allowing only one at a time to access the GPS.
Does anyone know if this device can handle multiple program access?

Solved this problem with GPS gate http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=14332 ... now all these progs will run simultaneously.
