http://www.incargear.com/

I didn't shop around; I just phoned Nemesis (Brodit's UK wholesale distributor) and asked for retailer details. Nemesis suggested In-Car Gear.

I dealt with a chap called Joe, who was most helpful and friendly. I knew I wanted a Brodit ProClip and a Garmin i3 mount. What I didn't realise was that the Garmin mount is intended to screw onto the ProClip, whereas I wanted something that would easily slide on and off, handy for quick removal when leaving the car, and which wouldn't put undue strain on the mounting socket in the back of the i3. On Joe's recommendation I added a MoveClip to the order, and all is sorted. I no longer have to worry about obscured vision, or tell-tale ring marks on the screen.

Also, most surprisingly, the i3 picks up satellite signals through my heated windscreen despite being mounted much lower down in the car, to the left of the centre console near the passenger's knee. I think I might still get an external antenna, just in case.

Anyway, top marks to In-Car Gear. Heartily recommended.
