Restore problem, lost postcodes! help!

Hope you guys can help

I someone accidently deleted the 8mb tomtom postcode file from within Home

Therefore i thought id simply restore my device

Went into the restore window and clicked sync first... but it seems this has sync'ed my current settings with the backup i first done when i bought the device!

I got the message "restore complete" or along thoses lines

Everything else is complete and how i want it, the tomtom cd only contains voice and sat imagary

The software should come up with a warning to say the bank up is going to be overwritten!
So how can i get my postcodes back? at the moment i can only get 4 digit Sad

I don't know if there is a difference between the postcodes on the different devices; but what tomtom are you using?

Oops! thought i mentioned that!

Its a TomTom 510 with version 6.510

I think your best bet is to contact TomTom Support and tell then exactly what has happened. I'm sure they will sort you out.

was thinking about doing that in the morning, but heard bad things about tomtom support, cheers for the advice though
