Nice report. Was wondering what happened to the reviews on the Lowrance GPS's. The only thing I fine wrong with them is they are not water proof. We can work around that. I have had mine a week and the search and rescue squad got theirs a year ago. Nice unit.

Well, I need to tell you something in confidence, so come a little closer! A little more!

We're actually redesigning all of our comparison pages into a huge database which will let you compare any type of Handheld GPS, Bluetooth GPS, and even Pocket PC. But ssssh, don't tell anyone. :P Wink

We're hoping to release it shortly, but it will be one kick a$$ database! Thumbs Up

We have completed entering a lot of the data, but we still have handheld GPS's to do, and some other comparisons. This has taken us all in all about 3 months work but it will be worth the wait! Thumbs Up

Been using my iFinder PRO for a week and its a excellent test fixture. Had a opportunity to use it along side a Trimble Pathfinder PRO at work and was amazed that a $160 handheld could be so accurate and configureable.

Only one problem with initial test was the compass defaults to magnetic out of the box.

Been trying to get a ifinder pro for a month. Called half a dozen dealers and they said it will be the end of January before they will have them. Called Lorwance and they said they were shipped the first of the month. Don't know what is going on. Hope to get one soon. This will be my first one. Just going to use it fishing and to play with.

Been using the Ifinder Pro for a few months. Works nice. Can't find anything wrong with it. Has a nice white backlight that is nice and easy to see after dark. Just found out Lowrance is coming out with a warterproof model this summer. Made me mad because I had asked them if their was a water proof model in the works or could make this one waterproof, and they didn't mention anythink about the new model.

Had ifinder pro for almost a year. For 199$ I think that it is a pretty nice outfit. Sure like the new white light display. Makes it very easy to see of a night. Use it fishing on some big lakes. Would buy it again. Also just heard they came out with a water proof one. Might want to check this one out if you want a low priced unit. Didn't see any reports on the lowrance in the comparison list .
