Has anyone any experience of using the Europe maps - particularly those for France. If so, I'd be grateful to hear their views

Well, I did not go many places in France but I have used the European maps to go from London to Polish border via France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany and CoPilot was 100% accurate all the way. On the route I did add-hoc decisions to visit sister-in-law with only town name, street name and a door number in NL/D border, without any problems.

Also, in Germany I overshot an exit while doing mumble, mumble mph (lets say it is enough for the plod to lock me up and throw the keys in the North Sea) and CoPilot re-routed me via small industrial estate on the outskirts of Berlin without any sweat.
