I think there's even an adaptor you can buy from Radioshack that adds an audio input to a car stereo without one.

I think I might look into doing this with my tomtom as well before my big trip in a few weeks. I'll let you know if I figure out anything.

The FM transmitter works like a charm!
Gmonkey, I'm interested in an adapter. Let use know what you find out.

But what about a Bluetooth connection? This is the claim on the TT website and one of the main reasons I bought the 910:

"Bluetooth® connectivity: Connect your GO to your mobile phone, headset, car speakers or headphones hassle-free with Bluetooth® technology."

Has anyone been able to make this work for play music through their factory stereo? TT support won't email me back!?!?!

i just want to mention the fm transmitter i got, it's an audiax dgt-202, i got it from mp3-europe.net @ 49 euro incl p&p. sounds good, navi instructions and music via the car stereo speakers sure beats getting the sound via built-in speaker. the only pity is that the sound when making phone calls still only comes out via the built-in speaker, dunno why that is.

anyhoo..i really recommend this solution, hassle free and very easy to use.

link to the product http://www.mp3-europe.net/product/3486/NEW_AudiaX_2_Stereo_FM_Transmitter_DGT202.htm

The sound for the phone will only come from the devices speaker, that is how the unit is designed - Mike

I know my friend's Lexus has a bluetooth connection, but maybe something like this would work with a TomTom.

What do you guys think?

don't think so. This adapter is for adding BT functionality to the device playing music, so in this case your GO910. But your 910 already has BT A2DP functionality.
You need to find a way to add a receiving A2DP BT adapter to connect to your car stereo

Nice find GMonkey.
One's car stereo still needs the Aux outlet though. Sad
My FM transmiter works great but I have too many wires.
