c320, SD Card and Cardreaders

Can anyone tell me why my cardreader will not read my SD Card. All I get on my PC is a folder with a .img file format which windows says it cannot read.
My c320 is right up to date with City Navigator V8 Nt installed on the S D Card,

I would think that it's because the 'format' of the image on the Card (PC) is in a type that your picture viewer can't read/decipher. It will probably be a 'GARMIN' propietory format, - otherwise somebody wold be sure to 'copy' it onto their PC and use it without paying for it - fair enuff!

Thanks, what you say makes sense and is probably the reason, I shan't bother with this anymore.
