Hi all
This is my first post just got a icn 520 and have put the speed cams on it is there a way for it to display a warning of the speed cam on the full display instead of at the bottom and can anyone recommend a good full 7 digit post code download?
Thanks

can you install a new sound for the camera poi so instead of the dong can you have a voice for moblie /gatso/specs etc
also is it correct that you cant install the full speed cams list of 23 files so it shows the speed in the poi icn i have been told that you can have only 16 active poi's

I was just about to post a question why I cant have more than 16 files in my POI. Thanks for the info, I'll have to download the speed cameras as files by camera type rather than by speeds.

Me too. I have got hold of a voice "Warning Speed camera ahead" as a .WAV file, and am going through all the .WAV files in the Windows (CE) diretory of the Navman to no avail... I did here the voice at startup as startup.wav is now the voice... but can't find the "BELL" sounds to alter them.
I suspect they are part of the UKFEM.dat file?

Anyone solved this elsewhere? ... going to look now

For the icn5** I recall seeing a post which explains that the only possablity to change the sound is to directly manipulate the file on the device.

icn520 (not tried on others)
Eventually found ... the answer, in the depths of those links, thanks
like many others I probably need to have things spelled out...

In MYPOI folder there are the SPEEDCAM .map .bm .chk files and the following .ini file... with an extra line added, soundfile=, for with a .wav file held in the same directory.

[SPEEDCAM]
active=1
distance=200
time=0
visualWarning=1
soundWarning=1
soundfile=camera.wav

tere is no need to alter the currmap.ini file

I am going to play with the time=0 setting to see what happens.
Will also test the soundfile in am.
I will also try to add a number to the voice. I have .wavs for 30, 40 , 50 and 100!!!
