iPaq & b/t GPS icon....

Just wondering.
I've had an Emtac b/t GPS receiver for a couple of months now, and it works a treat with my iPaq 3970.
Starting to bug me though that the icon in ipaq's b/t manager looks a bit like a "ghosted" ufo when it's not connected, and then when it is connected over b/t, simply changes to a yellow question-mark.

is that how they all are, or is it just mine? my bluetooth phones, home PC etc all have "proper" device icons. is it just there isnt one for b/t GPS when my iPaq was put together??

When the BlueTooth stack was created for the PocketPC they didn't know about GPS. So when the PDA successfully establishes the connecting it still is clueless to what device type it actually connected. Hence the question mark.

Interestingly BEFORE connection is established the icon seems to come from the GPS device. Some call it a UFO, others say it looks like a GPS satellite. Either way 8)
