I have just fitted a Brando Workshop Screen Protector to my Medion and would highly recommend others to do so. I have been using Brando SPs on my Clie and they last ages - have a minimal impact on the screen quality.

There a few people selling them on Ebay UK but no one had the Asus (which I understand the Medion is based on) model so I compared the o2 XDA screen size to my Medion and tried the o2 XDA version of the Brando SP. Near perfect fit!

This means I can now touch the screen with my fingers etc without worrying about damaging the screen.

Cheeers.

The pda is a Yakumo Delta 400, don't understand where this Asus bit came from unless that's another clone of the Yakumo.

sorry mate - read somewhere else that it was based on the Asus 600 oops!
Anyway the O2 XDA Brando SP is a near perfect fit and protects my Medion Screen perfectly even if it is a Yakumo Delta .
Cheers :D

Didn't mean to sound accusing, just seen Asus mentioned several times and was just letting you know.

The Medion PPC is a Mitac Mio clone. The nearest model is the Mitac Mio 339 which shares an identical hardware specification to the Medion but has the addition of a built-in camera.

See Mitac's Website for a detailed specification.

So will a USB Sync + Charge cable for the Mitac work with the Medion?
Havent found one yet but more chance of finding one than a Medion cable.
Thanks in advance.

Darren, the Medion IS an exact clone of the Yakumo Delta 400, the Mitac is only a similar clone as you said.

Details here...

I don't mean to split hairs but the Yakumo 400 is close but not identical, the Power On and Power LED's are in different places to the Medion for example.

I mentioned the Mitac Mio 339 because it is functionally identical in all respects, specification, and case design except for the deletion of the camera. Any accessories that will fit a Mitac Mio will fit the Medion and (here in the UK at least) it is likley to be far simpler to source accessories for a Mitac Mio than either a Yakumo or Medion.

I have no idea if the Yakumo is another PDA manufactured by Mitac and re-branded or if Yakumo make them and Mitac re-badge them! Either way this unit exists in more versions by the day. As is often the case with such devices they will likely be manufactured in China or Taiwan and re-branded by any number of manufacturers. Thumbs Up

Ordered a screen protector from Brandos Workshop in HK today. Unfortunately they seem determined to post it to my address in
"UNITED STATES MINOR OUTLYING ISLANDS" as opposed to the UK.

Guess Tony's foreign policy is starting to pay off .... Laughing

I am thinking of getting a screen protector too. So, what is the conclusion? What model from the hong kong site should I go for? Please advise? (or what you have ordered and does it fit to Aldi bundlge?) Thanks

I just used an XDA Brando Screen Protector from a seller on Ebay around £6 and it fits my Medion near perfectly. There is probably less than 1mm gap along any of the edges. In fact it is quite a tight fit.

It only took me a minute to fit but then I have been using Brando SPs for over a year now and have fitted two to my Clie and onto a mate's iPAQ.
Pasted link below for the item on Ebay....
