If it's an xda exec II you have to install the 5.2 update as the original 5.0 on the cd wont install on WinMobile5.

I guess this means it will work with TTN V3 too then?
Can't think how I would connect my GPS receiver, mind you.
Any ideas? I think it has a modem type connection on it.

Mark, you will not get TTNvs3 to load or work on the Exec, neither can you use a wired connection GPS with it. If you have the Exec there is only one way, TTNvs5,21 and a Bluetooth GPS unit - Mike

oh dear.
Well, I haven't bought the XDA yet. I'm currently running TTN 3 on a 3yr old PDA that I don't really use for much else but thought if I upgraded the PDA to something like the XDA then I would use it more, I would actually take it out of the car of an evening for one thing, which would encourage me to plan routes in advance etc. If I have to upgrade TTN, then for that sort of money I have to consider the stand alone devices too I suppose. Or just do nothing and save myself some money. . . .

thanks for the warning, Mike.

Mark
