Please help.
I have a compaq, ipaq 3870 with tomtom 3 installed on it. I cant get it to run properly with a bt gps.

Can anyone help me with the configuration settings. Sad

I have tried it set on NMEA 0183V2 57600 with bluetooth serial port COM8

This was suggested by a friend but it does not work.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Dave

I've moved this here from the Hardware SCD Forum; you will have a better chance of getiing some answers.

Try lowering the baud to 4800 and see what happens.

Hi hursty

TT3 definately works on the 3870.

Have you paired the BT receiver to the iPaq? Also BT receivers usually output at baud 33600.

As a last resort try downloading winfast navigator from http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=8 and follow the instructions on the same page.

Thank you for your response. You say " have I paired the BT receiver to the iPaq?" , do you mean have I bonded the ipaq to the bt gps, yes I have.
But I am having difficulty gettting it to work. I think because i have the configuration wrong the whole tt3 program is locking up, i.e. running very very slow.

thanks again
Dave
