At present, I have Tom Tom on my PDA. I am tempted to get the latest AA software because of its Irish mapping but, in a phone conversation today with Navteq, they thought that I should first uninstal my TomTom software before installing theirs as they expected that the two would clash. TomTom's navigation software is installed on my PDA's built-in memory, whereas the maps are on SD card. As the AA prodcut has both the navigating software and the maps on SD card and I would be substituting their SD card for my existing one, it doesn't seem logical that there could be a clash of the two softwares. Anybody got any thoughts or experience on this aspect please? Secondly, I currently use this site's speed camera database. Am I correct in uderstanding that it will not work with the AA/Navteq product and that I shall have to buy the AA's proprietary application, which is expensive at £80 pa? In case anyone else is interested, the AA/Navteq product doesn't currently have European maps on offer, but they tell me they will soon be available. Thanks for any advices. Cheers. Tony

I can't comment on the TomTom/AA potential for a clash but I have TomTom, Navman, Memory Map and Garmin Que software on my iPAQ5555 PDA and nothing interferes with anything else.

I have seen the AA software and TomTom working on a single PDA, (Not at the same time though), there were no problems with the device, one of the guys at work has this set-up, I would give it a shot - there is nothing to loose, make sure you back-up the device BEFORE installing the additional software, so if there is a problem you can revert back if need be - Mike
