Which maps to install?

Hi I am new to TomTom2 so this may seem an obvious question.

Which UK Maps do I install?

If I put the whole UK map on, is there any benefit in installing the regional maps as well?

Is putting a larger map on like running a larger program and slows the system down or is it just using up space on the memory card?

It seems I have to create favourites and overlays for each map.

Any advice and comments appreciated.

If you have got the memory card space then I would install the whole of the UK (95Mb from memory) which contains all of the regional maps. Steve
