You will need to buy TomTom maps as well.

There were a number of posts on this in the Navman gps hardware and navman software section of the forum, Apparently it works fine on the PiN 570, and from what I recall you had to set the GPS to "other nmea", and get the baud rate value correct etc. after that it should work.

try and do a search under these forums for the full details, but hope this helps.

I've been recommending people try the TomTom Cable GPS setting. Embarassed

However, I checked a few days ago and noticed mine had changed to Other NMEA GPS - Baud Rate 4800 - Serial Cable on SP2. (The recommended setting for my unit).

I reset to TomTom Cable and checked a few days later and it was back to Other NMEA.

What the.......?

So I did a few tests and found I can set it to TomTom Cable but if I do a soft reset it 'defaults' to Other NMEA.

I haven't a clue why this happens but I'm perfectly happy to let it do it's own thing. Confused

Try the same, maybe it will work for you too.

but if I do a soft reset

Should have said 'When TomTom's running'.
