Hi all. Recently purchased a i3 from halfords at £129 and so far have been very impressed.

The unit sits in the clear plastic map pocket on my Baglux tank bag (2004 Triumph Tiger). To stop the i3 from moving around I inserted a 1/4" thick piece of foam with a cut out for the i3.

I can easily see the on screen instructions through the plastic cover and the setup works well. The only problem I have is I miss the speed camera alerts

Has anyone tried to take the back off a i3 and solder in a 3.5mm jack or head phone connection? In theory it should be pretty straightforward.

Cheers

Good luck.
