But the Navman maps are actually pretty up to date, compared to TomTom.

They both have missing data, but I agree navman is better, unfortunately when maps are created some plonker then decides to build a round about that will obviously not be on the map, I think the ideal solution would be to create a map built on a grid with each cell given a code and have a subscription website that allows you to update only the sections of the map that has changed rather than the whole thing, but hey what do I know, i'm only an end user Rolling Eyes

Sorry, can't resist this but...... What's worse than some plonker creating a roundabout ? The same plonker creating the roundabout, then several months later deciding it's not working, so rather than abolishing the roundabout, they decide to stick traffic lights around it! Happy

I was in Italy round Lake Guarda this year. When I got there the TomTom maps were perfect.

In the 10 days we stayed there the maps quickly became out dated. They created 3 roundabouts on the lakeside road, 2 of which seemed to serve no purpose. They also seemed to like to create massive traffic jams by stopping all the traffic for 20 minutes to lay atrmac which everyone promptly drove over.
