Bluetooth or CF?

I have HP2210 with Navigon MBNEE4. It was wired to their GPS mouse on the dashboard, but it was stolen (window smashed). I need to replace it.

I know BT lasts longer and most of the new devices are BT, but seems to have the disadvantages:
1. Needs charging cable - messy in the car with mobile phone and PDA already
2. Either stays on dashboard (and window gets smashed again) or I have to take it out / put it away each time.

CF seems simpler, always charged without more wires and is portable for a few hours.

Am I missing anything, or would others advise differently?
What GPS (CF or BT) would you suggest?
