Fugawi on Clie

Hi

Is anybody successfully running any version of Fugawi later than 3.1.0.336 on a Sony Clie (Palm OS 5)?



I currently have a botched setup with the latest version of Palm Fugawi (works OK with Bluetooth and Memory Stick Maps) and 3.1.0.336 on the PC.



Any upgrade to later versions of the PC software causes a hotsync fatal error on the Clie.



I have reported this problem at length to Fugawi support, and although very helpful, say they have problems testing the fault because they have no access to a Clie with OS 5!



I'd be grateful for any other Clie GPS users out there to comment.

I get the same issue with my Tungsten T and maps on my memory card. If I remove the memory card or have no maps on it sync works. If I have it in with maps on, it crashes. So I just take the memory card out for the sync, put it in and copy the maps over, not ideal but it works.

I have the same problem with a Tungsten T2, SD cards or not.



And it's driving me nuts as the only reason I got Fugawi was to use on my Palm and so far I've got zero maps on it!



I've also reported to Fugawi who say they've heard of the problem but can't do anything about it as their Palm developer is away on holiday!



I'd be interested to know where I canget hold of an older copy of Fugawi as anything would be better than the zero I've had for the last few weeks.

Latest version of Fugawi software (from www.fugawi.com) 3.1.0.469, solves the problem on the Clie - if you still want older versions, I've got most of them!
