Please help me! I just got a brand new Dell 51v and Holux, but Dell say can't find GPS device. Sometimes it can find but then few mins later it still says not find GPS device.

Can anybody help me to solve this problems step by step?

have you managed to setup the GPS in your BT manager/console?

I can't fully remember although I did help a mate with this problem. Essentially you first pair the devices. Then you tell TT that you are using a wired GPS ( 8O ). Set a sensible baud rate (IIRC 9600) and it works. Weird or what?

Need somebody with a PDA if you need more.

If not can I ask you to confirm where the GPS unit is when trying to get a fix, does the amber LED blink in any way on the top of the unit? - also where are you locating the GPS unit when the connection is lost? - Final question for now what car and year / model are you using it in? I know this is a series of questions rather than the answer you are looking for but it might give us a clue to respond to the problem - Mike
