CheckPOInt 3.1.3 available

New update is now available on the CheckPOInt site.

"Version 3.1.3

Several users reported that CheckPOInts synchronization features could not connect to the internet when CheckPOInt was running on a Pocket PC that uses the Windows Mobile 2003 operating system. It seems that Microsoft made a few changes to the internet connection part of the operating system that caused this failure.

In version 3.1.3 this problem is solved!

A menu option called "Internet settings" was added. Until version 3.1.2 CheckPOInt connected to the internet the same way Internet Explorer does. But since this does not work correctly when running CheckPOInt on a Windows Mobile 2003 Pocket PC, you can now also explicitly tell CheckPOInt to connect to the internet directly (without a proxy server) or to make use of a proxy server."

I agree - but highlighted just in case someone might want to "upgrade".

I'm with Chorlie - but agree also that it is still worth mentioning version 3 updates in case anyone is using CheckPOInt 3.



I find CheckPOInt 2.0.2 ideal for use with the PocketGPS database.
