Navman Critique

I have an Ipaq 3955 and Navman 3450. I also have a handheld gps with mapsend CD streets and destinations and also Delorme Street Atlas USA 5.0 with tripmate gps.

(IF anyone would like to take these questions off the forum to e-mail (dunk50@ameritech.net.

    Is there any way to force a specific trip / route. Like setting a destination and then adding specific stops. This or something like it would be minimal I would think.I am in the USA and would like to set an 800 mile trip, not 20 small ones.

   Part of this trip will venture into Canada. Is there software for Canada and is it a small fortune. I love the Ipaq screen and the nice Ipaq and Navman colors but my $150 GPS is twice the GPS.

Will any other software work with the Navman. It deems that they have bit off more than they can chew doing Europe and USA etc. without perfecting one first.

There are other software packages that work with the 3450, TomTom Navigator 1 & 2 probably being the most popular alternatives to Navmans own software.



What is your $150 GPS??

I own a 3450 sleeve and find it superb for TTFF and reception...
