Copy Favourites from TomTom Go "Original" to TomTo

I have a back up of my tomtom go sd card, and have a new tomtom go 500. Is it possible to copy favourites across?

On reading this, I'll then save them as POIs!!!!!

Favourites are stored on the TTG SD card in the <mapname> folder in a file called <mapname>.cfg

Copying that across should do the trick (although there may be some other preferences etc. stored in the same file too).
