Trying to download the BMW POI from this site onto the i3

No luck so far although I have converted the file to .csv (destinator) the i3 still says that the file is not compatible.

Anyone help??

Thanks. Rolling Eyes

just checked the file
you needed to use navman csv in poiedit or garmin comma separated if you have downloaded the latest version of poiedit.
the file also needs some manual editing so that the begining of the file looks like this
Longitude Latitude Name
-5.09493 50.16626 Penryn Ocean Falmouth
-4.8632 51.80456 Haverfordwest Green Bower
-4.09019 50.39584 Plymouth Ocean Plymouth

you can add another line in excel named Details if you want to add other info like telephone numbers.
if you have not got a spreadsheet program open office is a good as any. and its free.

I also noticed that you donot have to have a bmp file with the csv file, if the bmp file is missing it shows the text and a white square.

I also found and do not understand that with one csv file the text had commas between the text, this worked ok but when i took the commas out it still worked but automatically gave me distance warning indication when i manually uploaded it ?

Bmw dealership POI's are already in the i3, you don't have to add them.
