any recommendations for a motorcycle GPS for my Dad (Christmas time!). How do they mount on the bike. BTW, I'm in the US

If your in the states then it must be worth looking at the Quest 2 and the garmin 2720 .Although I beleive they have just launched one that also includes XM radio as well.
Depends on how deep your pockets are
And soon TOMTOM will be launching the Rider

All of these are waterproof so are good on a motorbike
