HI.. i'm new to all this. I've been living in the UK (london) for 4 years and have not needed a car. Have now got new job + new car... so will be needing a Sat Nav System so i dont get lost. I've asked a few friends... but keep on getting conflicting info! I only need it to travel within London and mainly for London - Luton commute.

Any suggestions on what to get? It must have 7 digit postcode... otherwise i will really get lost!

Your help would be EXTREMELY appreciated.. as start new job in 3 weeks... and need to know how to get there!!

Thank you!

Smile

Hi Aurora
I have a Navman 520, it`s the only gps I have had so I cannot coment on any others. I got the 520 because I wanted to be able to put it in my pocket when I reached my destination, rather than leave it in the car to be stolen.
As for 7 digit postcode, the 520 has 5 digit which gets you to the area and all you need enter is the street name and of course the house number which you would still need to enter on a 7 digit.
Basically it is a matter of what you want from the unit as to which you opt for.
shughie.

A couple of questions for you:

Do you want/need a PDA?
Do you need any Euro maps?
Do you need any off road maps?
Do you want protable satnav?
What is your budget?
