New to GPS need advice

Hi Guys



I have just purchased a GPS mouse (not arrived yet) and have Autoroute 2001 on my laptop to which I have added the Speed Camera database.



What I am keen to know is, is there a way to make Autoroute warn me that I am in the vacinity of a camera? Or is there a third party piece of software for the PC rather than a pocket PC which will do this?



There seem to be loads of applications for IPAQs etc but very little for XP, I can uderstand this but at the moment I can't warrant the investment in a IPAQ or similar.



I was also considering buying Map & Travels Route Planner as this can apparently download current travel news from the net, I feel combining this with a mobile phone would be very useful, anybody tried this.

There is no way of getting Autoroute to warn you when you get close to a POI that I'm aware of.

We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
Have you considered making a donation towards website running costs?.
Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!
