I have just loaded up the latest vs, and noticed what (I think is new) in the GATSO, speed zoned there is now a var file with its own .bmp - I am sure it wasn't there last month, only problem is with all these different camera types I am running out of POI capability due to the TT limit, can someone confirm what the var cameras are (m25 variable speed I expect) - Mike

Yes you are correct, Variable Limit Speed Cameras. Fortunately I have stayed with TT V3 and GPSAssist so don't have the restriction as to how many POI files I have.

The .wav files will be for use with checkPOI - I so far have not bothered using it as I have little need the inbuilt system when configured correctly is great - I only miss the two shot warning which is easily overcome by doubling the entries and selecting the different distance settings. I still love the combination of an identical voice for the warnings and directions which as far as I know is only avail from Rays superb site. - Mike

Sorry I do not use the CheckPOI utility - I used to for TT vs3 but with vs 5 on the ipaq I have found it way too troublesome, any other takers to answer this one - Mike

Anywhere you like! Thumbs Up CheckPOInt can be told where they are.

I place the .WAV files in:
Storage_Card\Sounds

You can download CheckPOInt from http://checkpoint.oabsoftware.nl/ but it's for PPC, not Palm

i don't use all the speed camera's i only use the the ones that tell you their is a camera ahead ,otherwise i wouldn't have space for all my other poi's ,the way i see it ,i just want to know there is a camera ahead ,as 99% of the time i know the speed limit
