Why dos ActiveSync tries to start

I just received my Leadtek 9532 from TDC today.

When I turn on the PDA with the Leadtek already connected, ActiveSync also tries to start up. This sometime lock my system and I have to do a soft reset. I do not have any keyboard or similar accessories to my PDA which is an Fujitsu Siemens Pocket Loox. I used an Royaltek Sapphire a week ago, but I don't think this is the problem. I have TomTom installed with latest version and the GPS driver, also the latest version. Winfast is also installed together with POIWarner.

Usually it's a driver that's trying to auto-detect the serial port for data. If the Loox for some reason is trying to auto-detect, you can run up ActiveSync on the Loox (not on the PC), and tap TOOLS | OPTIONS and tap the OPTIONS button and untick the Enable PC sync using this connection.
