That would be great. I didn't like to ask. :D _________________ Ian

The current CSV files have a header record, ie
Longitude,Latitude,Name
Should I remove this for the CP5 specific files?

No need. CP5 can handle those with no problem. _________________ Ian

I don't import them as custom, but 'Travel and Transportation - Safety Cameras' I no longer get the Custom 1 of 1, but Safety Camera etc. |

Is there a way to EXPORT the existing Camera List from CP5? My sistuation is follow: I don't believe there is a Safety Camera Database with Australia data (not one that I am aware of anyway). CP5 do come have around 500(??) Safety Cam locations for Australia. So what I wanna do is export the list to somesort of file and see if I can munipluate the content. At the moment, I can add additional camera locations to the list via the Desktop version... then reload the POIs back onto the pocket PC. But I can't remove any of my own created POI. Is there a way to do this? Thanks. |

In the desktop there is an option to Export Custom Places under the Tools menu. You should be OK in Oz but there is a bug in the export program that affects folks in the UK. Any longitude reading starting -0. comes out as 0.- (e.g. -0.3 comes out as 0.-3) _________________ --Ken

Not in the version that I have (version 5.0.1.78). Under the Tools option, it only has "Import Customer Places" and "Options" |

Thanks Ken. I am not game enough to try it since I am already on .7 and going to .22 is a few steps backwards. Thanks anyway. |

I think you will find .22 is 15 versions later than .7 - its just the way software versioning is written _________________ --Ken
