Is this Sony's first GPS NAv unit - it looks neat.

Looks very much like the Navman 6xx series.

Dabs are offering the unit for £568. So I hope there a lot of kit there for that price.

Just unfortunate from seeing it first hand that Sony arent renowned now for thier build quality, the thing that does put me off is those god awful buttons i hope it has a remote.
