I've got a Mio 269, and I wonder if anyone can tell me how to download the speed camera list into it as POI, or whatever, so that I can get a warning that I'm approaching one, please?

I have just unlocked my 268 and added a speed camera poi category.

You need to install a (free) app to give the warnings and run it in the background.

Took me a day to sort it all out, but other people seem to have done it okay and it all works - i just need to check the warning bit works now, the icons look fine.

You need to look at :
http://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=28427

to unlock it and make it into a pda... All the mio stuff works still. (Download the most recent version and you only need to do a few steps - look at the *** bit at the bottom of the steps for a summary of what to do)

Some of the links below aren't English, but i'm sure you can work out how to register and download what you need.

You need to look at :
http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=17448&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15

to get the app to create the poi and warning file and also :

http://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=32419

has a nice link to a config file you can load into POIConfigurator to create the files - tis easy to change for your own preferences.

Just need more csv files with lat/long/names you can run through to create more poi categories.
