3420 vs 3450 - What’s the diff?

Can anyone explain whatthe difference is between these two models? What is the price difference and is it worth it?

- 3420 SIRF Star 2e chipset, More sensitive than 3400

- 3450 SIRF Star 2e/LP (Low Power=More standalone battery time) plus external antenna input.

Thanks for the feedback. Do you know what the price difference is on the two? I'm assuming that if I want to use it primarily for in car use I would be better off with the 3420. Agree?

3420 should be cheaper, but you can find some deals on 3450s. For ex at Amazon, 3450 is anounced at $260. Also remember the ext antenna input on 3450, which might be handy in some cars.
