With TTN3 I could simply click the "Navigate To" button, select a POI - say "Cash Dispenser" and it would show me where the nearest one was. With TTN5 when I do this I get a "No POI found!" message. If I display the "Cash Dispenser" icons on the Map View they do appear - I just cannot navigate to them!

If I try the same with Custom POI's (e.g. the pocketgps speed camera files) it works fine and shows me a long list of points i can navigate to.

Is this a problem with my setup or problem with the software?

Thanks.

This subject has been discussed in previous threads.

It would appear that there is a problem with some of the the built in POI's supplied with version 5.

I am currently using the POI file from version 3 as a temporary solution which seems to be working ok.

I emailed tomtom about this 3 days ago but have not yet received a response.

From some of the other threads this "No POI found" problem is causing TTN5 to crash to desktop.

This seems to be more common on PDA's running WM 2003 SE.

The fact that TTN5 crashes masks the origin of the fault, which occurs when trying to access a POI which would have given a "No POI found" on other PDA's. It can also occur during browsing the map with the problem POI's enabled since TTN5 is again trying to access the missing POI's.
