GPS settings, Which are best

in the GPS settings / configuration i have 3 colums:
com port:
baud rate:
protocol:

i have it set at com port 8 but it has quite a few others

i have baud rate set to 57600 again has others

protcol is at NMEA and has 1 other

which is the best settings to have these on?

set destinator to find your gps...it would then choose the optimum settings

D3 uses either SIRF or NMEA, but somewhere I read that it prefers SIRF, I have it on 38400 and works fine with a Globalsat wired GPS, if won't find it, which it should if D3 and GPS are both set, set D3 to NMEA 4800 which is the default and when you prove it 3 and bingo
