Hi
Just a moan about loosing the number of sats displayed in TT3 for this:-

"A ‘phone-style’ signal indicator to give an idea of how good or bad the GPS reception is in your current location. The more bars, the better"

well actually no its not better, what was wrong with knowing the exact number?

sigh up here :x

I agree absolutely, I love to see my sat figures e.g. 10 satellites on a beautiful sunny day cruising up the M40. Its just another irritating thing about TTN5, along with the lack of speedo in big numerals, you now have to squint at bottom right of the screen.

The number of sats is not very good at telling you how accurate the position is, or how likely it is to lose position. A system that takes into account the sats, their position in the sky, the reception, degree of change between reported and averaged positions etc is much better.

But....

The main sat screen is only 2 pokes away.

tap the signal strength icon once, (screen changes to status summary) then tap the signal strength icon on this new screen.

even better.... its only one poke to return :D

Poking whilst driving is not a good thing.. one of course should only poke or tap whilst stationary Wink
