Global Sat BC307 - Lag !

I have a hp2210 running tom tom navigator 3, just bought a bc-307 and slotted it in, set it to generic cf slot and 4800 sirf. It really does lag behind. Anyone help ?

Hi,

This is a classic symptom of using the Sirf protocol. Set it to NMEA 4800 and it will be fine.

You may have to factory reset the receiver by using Winfast or similar program if it sticks in Sirf.
