Just checked status of order, no change after just short of 5 weeks, i think i can assume i will not receive product by tomorrow, which is the 5 weeks stated, so i have just faxed them telling them to cancel the order and refund my card. I will use my current Tom Tom software but will not deal with them again. Since i bought mine i have got 3 other people to buy their product, i will not do that again, and will in fact steer people away from Tom Tom. Well Done Tom Tom an excellent lesson in customer service relations!!!

The Go users seem to think they have got a raw deal-at least they have recieved their upgrades.

But the fact that our cards have been debited some weeks ago for £61-plus the fact Tomtom mobile 5 was the first upgrade to be offered for purchase on the Tomtom website on April 14th-makes me feel that we are the forgotten users as far as Tomtom are concerned. :x

My order status still says, CAPTURED, WAREHOUSE. It will be 5 weeks tomorrow. So it seems unlikely I will get the upgrade within 5 weeks.

I have just spoken to my credit card company, who will sent a disputed purchase form and then get the money back from Tomtom.

I have tried to contact Tomtom but they are not replying to emails.

NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I USE TOMTOM SOFTWARE OR RECOMMEND ANYONE ELSE TO USE THEM. YOU CAN'T JUST HAVE GOOD SOFTWARE AND NON-EXISTENCE SUPPORT. THIS IS 21ST CENTURY, PEOPLE WANT ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS WITHIN HOURS NOT DAYS.

unfortunately i have just checked, i paid by debit card rather then credit card, so its not as easy 4 me . What a wally i am, though in my defence i did not expect this problem

I have emailed them regarding this, my order was taken and paid for over five weeks ago. Their reply was ridiculous, stating that I should allow five weeks for delivery Confused
I have now mailed them again informing them that under the non provision of goods act they are performing a fraudulent transaction. I have dealt with one man band outfits who are more professional than these jokers.

I have cancelled my order abd beleive it or not they have alreasdy credited my card back. Might be case of cut my nose of to spite my face, but they just went a little too far in the way they treated their customers.

After 5 weeks of waiting just recieived this excuse
from Tomtom......

You may have noticed that the money for your order has been debited from your bank account and that your package has not been shipped yet.
We are aware of this issue and we are currently working to address it with our business partner. We would like to emphasize that it is not TomTom’s standard policy to accept payment without shipping, and we apologise for the inconvenience you may have encountered.

If you are not happy about the way your order has been handled, you are entitled to ask for a refund

Bloody hell whinging has actually paid off, just got the following...this is just the first bit, not going to post my tracking details :D
