HELP ???

Just changed faulty toshiba 330e for new unit but tomtom soft ware will not install on new unit, I think i will have to sort this with tomtom.



But when it was running or should i say set up on first tosh the gps would not start up haicom hi-203e when i clicked on gps it started but did nothing no sats or anything,

the light came on the haicom and that was it left it stationary for 3 hours and still nothing.



tried to upgarde software to ver 2.2 but then got message on screen saying app could not be requonised so I am dubiuse about ugradeing on new machine when tt sorted out .

Also there dose not seem to be a setup.exe file on the small disc that came with the gps.



Any help would be appreciated

Have you installed the GPS driver?

GPS for e330 uses USB>serial converter so needs such driver to create a serial port before you can use the GPS. (It is not a GPS driver as such, but only a USB>serial driver as using GPS itself does not need a driver)

It may have been included in the setup.exe but it may be not.

I do not know what is the software included with Haicom so cannot help you further.
