I replaced my iPaq 3970 with a hx4700 this week, and now have TTN3 + traffic installed.
TTN3 (traffic not yet activated) works fine with my Emtac b/t GPS
my iPaq hx4700 happily talks to my SE K700i mobile and i can access websites and download my emails via GPRS.

When the hx4700 is cradled on my home PC, i was able to activate traffic and download traffic updates.

Today I went to try traffic again and it was asking to be activated, so i tried it (via my b/t GPRS connection, and it wont connect up, keeps trying to initiate a GPRS connection with the mobile, but just doesn't get any further.
Web & email via the hx4700 & K700i are still fine.

Any ideas?

thanks,
david

Make sure you are using TTN 3.07T from the website, they changed the server in 3.04T
Secondly, obtain a connection first to the GPRS (or 3G if your flash) and then try the traffic. This will eliminate any problems over the internet connection...

If that fails it maybe Traffic is not working correctly.. Pleanty of stories here about people having problems.

thanks simon, THINK i'm on traf version 3.07T not 3.04, but will need to check. alreay tried getting a GPRS connection going first (which it did), but then as soon as I told traffic to update, it dropped that connection first and tried from scratch.
will have a good check over the weekend, but thanks so far!
