It should be the same instructions as the original Go - you use the POI warning feature that's built into Go.

You don't need any - as the Database page says:
Quote:
Copy the OV2 and BMP files to your Storage Card into the Country Directory (e.g. \Great Britain) and enable them in the POI screen.

If TTG sits idle for several minutes it will switch off.

Ama.

Have you tried plugging into another USB port?

Is it possible to try another USB lead, or use the USB lead on another device (camera perhaps)?

Don't worry you're not the only one. I've read you need the (non-existent) power supply for it to work reliably. I gave up and used my card reader instead.

I'm not sure that is correct. Mine connects via USB with no external power or any problems at all. If it doesn't connect straight away, turn the unit on, wait for the application to start and then connect the USB cable.

I've never used the mains power lead for connecting to PC, for anything other than experimenting. The internal battery, if fully charged, lasts several hours. Plenty of time to copy, paste or install.

My process has been to leave the TTG switched off, plug in the cable, then turn the device on.

The device recognises that it's connected and gives a screen showing a picture showing the back of the TTG, and the PC detects the device and shows it as a disk drive in Windows Explorer.

Regards,
Rich
