I use it for walking and backpacking.



It may already be there and I haven't found it yet but I'd like to see an optional readout showing total distance travelled and distance to go on a route, rather than just the distance to next waypoint. I'd also like to see an altitude readout (based on the map rather than GPS which sucks).

It's not going to happen because they sell map data, but I'd like them to improve the importing of scanned maps.



I tend to use OziExplorer most of the time purely because of its superb calibration abilities. I prefer the Memory Map software, but that can't make up for only providing 1:50,000 maps when I can scan maps into OziExplorer at 1:25,000 and better.



Alternatively if they could actually start selling the 1:25,000 maps that they've been promising for ages, then I'd be more than happy.
