I wonder if anyone can helmp me. I have an ipaq 2200 with a 4 month old (purchased new) globalsat bc 307 cf receiver. It hase been working great untill a few days ago where it will get a 8-9 sat lock but it will loose the signal at random times down to 0 for a couple of mins then find the sats again. Some times it will stay with5-8 stas fine for a couple of hours but after a while it will start to loose the fix for maybe 1-5 minutes then find them again. It's very annoying when you are driving as it constantly looses the fix.
I know it's something wrong with the receiver cause I tried my friend's bc-307 and works fine.
Any ideas? |

Where did you purchase the receiver?
If it is faulty then you are covered by warranty. _________________ www.easydevices.co.uk

I purchased it from Hong Kong via ebauy. The guy that sold it to me gave me globalsats email address but I am still waitting to her from them. I might get a new one I am thinking maybe the new hulux 270U or the sysonchip with the xtrac II chip but someone told me even though they are more sensitive they can give the wrong prosition. |

The seller should give you a replacement under the warranty terms within 12 months if the device is faulty.
Of course you may have to send the faulty one back to Hong Kong.
We could probably offer a replacement and return your faulty device back to Globalsat on your behalf. There would be a service charge for this to cover our own costs, but it would still be cheaper than buying a new receiver.
But I would try to get a replacement from the original seller first.
Send me a PM or just go to our website and contact us via the links there if you have no success with the original seller. _________________ www.easydevices.co.uk
