Less cables running to my cig lighter. I just need to run one cable from the mount to the receiver. Plus the dual socket charger is already in use to charge my phone/bluetooth headset.

OK, Ive now found the screws, so I have the kit open (D'oh!) Confused

However, the connector itself - am I supposed to simply unplug it or is it soldered on?

I have seen between 4 and 8 satellites, average tends to be about 6. Once it has a signal, it works great, but the time to lock in at the start is a bit frustrating.
