Not sure that would've worked as selecting anything under "Start" caused the "Start" drop down to roll back up....as it thought you were actually tapping the "Start" button itself for a second ... |

| For absolute clarification I mean touching any part of the "Today" screen perpendicular to the relevant icon e.g. two inches below, not "borderline, maybe touching the Start toolbar".... |

Argh - problems and lengthy draft post lost!
After much work I think I know what's happening.
My "Start" toolbar looks OK but I believe it's "overlaying" the entire "Today" screen.
