No, only the predefined map symbols.
The Custom POI map symbols are imported by POI Loader and included in your .gpi files. You could try to use symbols that are larger than 24x24 pixels for your ... |

I can assure you that the POI symbols are not resized by POI Loader.

You cannot change the TTS voice, but you can change what it says. If you are tired or hearing "Recalculate...", you can change it to anything you want. The same applies to all other TTS prompts.
